About Us

Our Mission

Our mission is to meet the needs of ALL students in Catholic and non-public schools.

Our History

Catholic and non-public schools are known for excellent education, spiritual development, and service to the community. Each school has a culture that serves the community in its own unique way. OptimALL was founded to help schools knock hurdles out of the way and allow them to embrace a wide range of learners. OptimALL seeks to make it possible for all students, including those with special learning needs, to be served by their schools.

Historically, the majority of Catholic and non-public schools declined admission to students with exceptional learning needs because resources have not been available to provide the interventions needed for these students. This often separates siblings, sending one child to the non-public school and the other to the public school. It also impacts the self-esteem of the student with special learning needs and denies them the option of a private education, an opportunity given to their peers without disabilities.

What We Do

Leadership Training:
OptimALL offers a six-month leadership class that takes administrators and lead teachers through the process of including all learners within their unique school environments. Included with the class is ten hours of leadership coaching for administrators or educators to help incorporate all learners successfully.

Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Provider:
OptimALL is a Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Provider. OptimALL will provide and raise money up front, hire staff specifically for a school’s program, and handle all of the administration and paperwork associated with the scholarship program. This brings more teachers and resources to your school without adding administrative burden.

Exceptional Coaching:
The OptimALL staff is among the most qualified and respected in the state. Our educators will cultivate professional development in the classroom with your teachers. This helps to address executive function, attention, and other learning differences – we provide differentiation strategies to benefit the entire classroom. In addition, the coaching staff will sit side by side with high school administrators as they become Jon Peterson scholarship providers and begin the administrative process.
